I am grateful for bridges.
Bridges are connectors. In the English language, we have the phrase, "Let's build bridges not walls". This means let's come together to a common ground and let's meet in the middle.
Bridges also physically connect you from point A to point B. Imagine having no bridges in the San Francisco Bay Area. Life would be really difficult.
There is a deeper meaning of bridges in the Islamic faith. In the Quran (holy book of the Muslims), the Bridge (As-Sirat) will connect mankind to its final destination which is the next world of paradise. As all of mankind crosses the bridge, each person will be guided to the other side by each other's light.
